Sitting at the top of one of Vietnam's tallest mountains, a young disciple sipped from his cup. Taken aback by the pleasant taste and warmth of the brew, he exclaimed: ā€“ "Master, what is this tea?!"

Wise Lao Cha, stroking his beard, replied: ā€“ "Imagine young sprout, a tea leaf leaping from the mountain, landing in our pot. It sings of the earth's sweet whispers and dances like fruit in the wind, with a roast as round as the full moon.Ā ThisĀ is our Oolong."

Wen's brow lifted. ā€“ "So, I'm tasting the mountain's serenade?"

ā€“ "Yes", ā€“ chuckled Lao Cha, ā€“ "and it seems the mountain has quite the sense of rhythm."

We present an exotic addition to our Oolong tea collection - the "Golden Lily" Vietnamese Oolong.Ā Nestled in the HoĆ ng LiĆŖn SĘ”n mountains of Viį»‡t Nam, this high-mountain Oolong tea thrives at an altitude of 1200m. These heights, part of Vietnam's tallest mountain range, are where the Jin Xuan varietal, locally known as Kim TuyĆŖn, has found a home amidst the area's wild varietal tea trees and fertile soil. Indeed, the soil is among the region's treasures.

Making the Kim TuyĆŖn OolongĀ follows the traditional Oolong production process, infusing our tea with a complex array of flavors. As you brew this Oolong, expect to be greeted with an aroma reminiscent of freshly baked goods straight from the oven. Pour a cup, and you'll discover a taste profile that marries notes of vanilla with the sweetness of tropical fruits, underscored by a deep and well-rounded roast.

This tea speaks of its origin ā€“ of soil kept clean and lush by organic farming practices and homemade organic fertilizers. It's a tea that's as honest and genuine as the land it comes from and the people who tend to it.

Our Kim TuyĆŖn Vietnamese Oolong is a tea that celebrates the unique terroir of Vietnam's high mountainous tea gardens. The high-altitude origin and the rich, unpolluted soils of TĆ¢m Đʰį»ng, combined with pristine surroundings and organic practices, turn this tea into an experience that connects you with its landscape ā€“ a place where traditional methods meet a commitment to purity and quality. It's crafted for those who appreciate the serene complexity of a good Oolong and the focused calm that Gong Fu Cha brings.Ā

Mountain Aroma

I'm deep in my oolong journey, this Golden Lily being my 7th Path of Cha offering I've tested. I really enjoy the fragrance on this one. Something feels very familiar when I take a deep smell of this one. I love the feel of not knowing what it reminds me of but still feeling the nostalgia. The flavor is quite delicious. This will slowly become a top 3 Oolong for me.
