A Kusenaoshi is used for drying and storing Chasen, helps to maintain the proper shape of Chasen, and protects the fine tines from breakage. It also makes a nice display piece.

Whisk Holder is Good

I forgot to get this matcha whisk holder thingy when I purchased a matcha set for my brother as a gift. It wasn't a terrible mistake, but I have read some information that having this item helps with the whisk's overall shape and longevity. So I bought this thing and it arrived in timely fashion and in solid condition. So far, so good. ☺

Must

I used to go without one but since getting it I've noticed how important it is for a long-lasting whisk! It keeps it in much better shape, which helps to always produce a consistent cup f frothy goodness! Don't skimp out on this one ;)
