$25.00

– Shifu, today I meditated on the vicissitudes of life. Joy and sorrow alternate, grief is impregnated with happiness, and into the winter frost hidden the flaming hot heart of the summer. All of them intertwine in the complexity of the Creation. Will I ever gain an understanding of its mysterious ways?

– Vast is the Creation, and unbeknown are its paths, my boy. It's best experienced rather than analyzed. Here, have a sip and quiet down your mind. Feel how the sweet aroma of the White Tea complements the sharp intensity of the Sheng Pu-erh into a blissful experience, just like life itself.

A delightful combination that showcases the best of both White Tea and Sheng Pu-erh is at the core of this rare tea. It brings together the unique taste and aroma profiles of two remarkable tea types in a truly captivating brew.

Sipping a cup of this extraordinary tea brings a harmony of flavors into play. The tasting notes reveal a sweetness that surpasses the usual Raw Pu-erh tea, with a delightful sensation on the palate. The sweetness comes from the Bai Mudan White Tea, which lends its gentle and soothing character to the blend. But there's more to this tea than just its sweetness.

As you inhale the aroma that dances from your cup, you'll be entranced by its long-lasting and complex nature. It's as if the tea is whispering stories of the mountains and forests from which it originates. This captivating aroma is reminiscent of the salt in cooking — a small addition that enhances the overall taste. The Raw Pu-erh brings this unique aromatic profile to the blend, adding depth and intrigue to the tea experience.

The journey of this rare tea begins in the lush gardens of Mt. Phoenix in Yunnan, where farmers cultivate the White Tea leaves. These leaves come from a tea bush that has been growing for more than 30 years. The Pu-erh, on the other hand, originates from the lofty slopes of Mt. Infinity, also in Yunnan. It comes from ancient tea trees that have matured for over a century. The high altitude (1800+m) adds a touch of refinement to their character.

With a gentle oxidation level of just 3%, the tea leaves retain their vibrancy and natural freshness. The White Tea undergoes no roasting, preserving its delicate essence, while the Sheng Pu-erh goes through a medium roast, adding depth and complexity to its flavor profile.

What sets this tea apart is the special relationship between White Tea and Sheng Pu-erh. They complement and enhance each other's characteristics in a harmonious balance of taste and aroma. The blend consists of 50% Bai Mudan White Tea, which provides a solid foundation of sweetness, while the remaining portion incorporates the finest Raw Pu-erh Tea, carefully selected for its exceptional sweetness. This combination makes the tea a delightful choice for both Sheng Pu-erh enthusiasts and those new to this variety. The journey through each sip begins with a pleasing sweetness that gradually transitions into a captivating and long-lasting aroma reminiscent of wildflowers in bloom.

Additionally, both White Tea and Raw Pu-erh age beautifully when pressed into cakes. That gives the unique blend the potential to evolve and develop new complexities over time, making it a fascinating tea to store and explore as it matures.
