Gong Fu Travel Tea Set (Porcelain)

If you're looking for a portable but high quality gong fu tea set that doesn't cost you rent money, I urge you to buy this ASAP. Misha helped me get this one and I absolutely loved it and I have zero regrets! 😍

I stumbled across Path of Cha on Instagram a few weeks ago and went back and forth on starting the tea journey. After mulling it over I reached out and Misha has been insanely helpful the whole way. From answering questions about how much tea to use, to suggestions on kettles and scales. I cannot say enough about how incredible it is to find a small shop that is willing to go the extra mile for someone who has no clue what they are doing.

Make sure you pay attention to how it comes packed up tho. Otherwise it may be hard to replicate and make sure the cups don't clink together.

First off, the customer support and general vibes from this company are fantastic. Misha really knows how to make a customer feel special! Shipping time was lightning fast, packaging was maybe the best I've ever seen, quality of product exceeded expectations.. I could go on and on..

This travel set is exactly what I was looking for to take on backpacking trips. I recently took individual components of teaware from my personal collection for a Gong Fu session at camp and it was very difficult to pack such fragile supplies, all using bulkier household supplies. This is a very cleverly packed full set of surprisingly very nice quality and beautiful teaware that all goes in a hardshell case for protection. Each porcelain piece is protected by cloth when packed correctly. A recommendation - when you get this, pay attention to how it's done as you unpack it, so you can put everything away in the same fashion.

For all of the backpacking nerds out there like me, this full set w/ case weighs 15.2 oz - just under 1 lb. I used to take a camp chair (Helinox Chair Zero - 16 oz) but now leave the chair at home in favor of this tea set. Sure a chair gives me a place to sit, but this tea set gives me delicious loose leaf elixir after a long day of hiking. Thank you, Misha, for top notch service. The Golden Turtle Oolong was also very satisfying and I will be buying again very soon!

As much as I have admired the decorated Gaiwans I was hoping to find a totally plain one and this travel set seemed exactly like what I was hoping to find. It's a really lovely set in a nice case. The pieces are delicate and translucent, beautifully shaped and the glass ChaHai has a great shape and the clear glass allows the tea's color to be seen and appreciated. Overall, the set meets every one of my expectations and adds immeasurably to my afternoon tea time. On top of all that the staff at Path of Cha are awesome and the set arrived in just a couple of days.
