The Gongfu Tea Tray, also known as Cha Pan (茶盘), ensures a smooth tea-making process by collecting any water or tea that may be spilled during the various stages of washing, steeping, and pouring. This prevents any mess and allows for a focused and enjoyable tea experience.
Hand-carved from pine wood, this state-of-the-art Gongfu tea table embodies the spirit of Gong Fu Cha. The craftsmanship is evident in the elegant design where water and tea gracefully trickle down the branches and into the trunk, symbolizing the nurturing and growth of the tea tradition.
Serhiy and his wife, Olga, are Ukrainian woodwork masters. Ukraine is known for its woodwork craftsmanship, and it is also where the eastern tea tradition planted its roots in the early 90s and has since grown significantly. Serhiy and Olga pour their passion for Gong Fu Cha and woodwork craftsmanship into creating these exquisite tea trays.
Many years ago, in his small garage, captivated by the beauty and philosophy of Gong Fu Cha, Serhiy began making wooden tea accessories, and his hobby quickly evolved into a full-fledged occupation. His dedication to his craft led him to the International Tea Expo in South Korea, where he exchanged knowledge with other tea and woodwork masters from around the world.
Despite gaining acclaim as a wood craftsman, Serhiy remains humble and perpetually devoted to learning and refining his skills and artistry. His deep love for nature, wood, tea, and beauty is evident in every piece he creates. We are honored to present this signature tea tray that encapsulates Serhiy's passion for Gong Fu Cha and his work.

An absolutely stunning carving and a perfectly functioning tray. The ability to remove the drip tray without having to take apart the tray makes it even easier to have multiple sessions in the morning. The carving really is as beautiful as it looks in the picture and the "carved rim" variety looks better than the desk I have it on. Serhiy is definitely a master.
Absolutely stunning! Love the way the liquid flows down the branches and into the tray below from an opening at the roots of the tree. The metal discard tray is a good depth. In my opinion worth every penny.
